As a center of innovation and progress, the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) offers great opportunities to improve the quality of life of its residents through the use of technology and cross-sector collaboration.
In this context, there is significant potential for cooperation that can be explored to increase the efficiency of public services, especially in the use of Big Data technology and artificial intelligence (AI).
First, the use of Big Data can be an effective tool to reduce travel time for IKN residents.
By collecting and analyzing traffic data in real-time, traffic management centers can produce accurate and timely information to re-plan traffic patterns in metropolitan areas. This will not only reduce traffic congestion, but also improve transportation efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
Second, artificial intelligence can be used to better handle public reports. By utilizing AI technology, daily reports on urban problems posted by citizens can be collected and analyzed automatically.
This information can then be used as input for the decision-making process by local governments in dealing with city problems more responsively and efficiently.
Third, managing flood-prone areas using Big Data is also an important potential for collaboration in IKN. By carefully collecting and analyzing hydrological and weather data, local governments can provide early information that can be used to anticipate economic losses and casualties due to flooding.
In addition, a multi-stakeholder and multi-administrative approach can be used to increase the efficiency of flood management in metropolitan areas, through collaboration between government, non-governmental organizations and the private sector.
In order to optimize the potential for cooperation in IKN, commitment and collaboration between government, the private sector, academics and civil society are needed. Through strong and innovative synergies, IKN has great potential to become a model of a sustainable smart city, with public services that are efficient, integrated and responsive to the needs of its people.
By wisely utilizing Big Data technology and artificial intelligence, IKN can become a model in improving the quality of life of its population and moving towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.
