Minister Suharso Reveals Sources of Funds to Realize Clean Government

Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa revealed funding sources that can be used to create good and clean government, after attending the 2024 National Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia, Tuesday (09/01/2024).
According to him, the Indonesian Attorney General’s Office can optimize various existing sources of development funding, both from domestic development funding and funding from abroad.
The Minister said that sources of development funding include pure rupiah, grants, domestic loans, humanitarian/CSR/philanthropy funds, business entities or collaboration between government and business entities, state securities and state sharia securities.
As is known, Indonesia has set a vision to become a developed country by 2045. To achieve this vision, Indonesia will implement a comprehensive transformation, where one of the points of transformation is the supremacy of law, stability and Indonesian leadership.
The rule of law plays a crucial role in realizing the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045. In this context, the rule of law emphasizes the importance of implementing and enforcing laws that are fair, transparent and strong as a foundation for sustainable national development.
The rule of law also ensures the protection of human rights, social justice and equality at all levels of society. This is the basis for inclusive development that empowers all Indonesian people.
With fair and just laws, every citizen can feel the benefits of national development, thereby reducing social disparities and increasing shared prosperity.
The Minister explained that the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office could optimize the use of funding sources to realize good and clean governance to create supremacy of law in Indonesia.
To realize Golden Indonesia 2045, 8 eight development missions have been established consisting of 3 (three) Indonesian Transformation agendas, namely social transformation, economic transformation and governance transformation.
These three transformations are supported by 2 (two) basic transformation agendas, namely the supremacy of law, stability, Indonesian leadership, and socio-cultural and ecological resilience.
All of this is implemented through 3 (three) transformation implementation framework agendas, namely equitable and just regional development, quality and environmentally friendly facilities and markets, and sustainable development.
