Minister Suharso leads the Pancasila Birthday Ceremony

Minister of National Development Planning Suharso Monoarfa led the Pancasila Birthday Commemoration Ceremony which took place in the PPN/Bappenas Ministry office yard, Saturday (01/06/2024). The ceremony was attended by high -ranking officials and staff of the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas.

In his speech, the Minister stressed the important role of Pancasila in uniting the Indonesian people.

“As a static table, Pancasila is proven to be able to unite us in facing a variety of waves of challenges and historical tests so that until now, Indonesia remains firm and tough as a large nation,” said the Minister.

The Minister also analogizes Pancasila as a dynamic leitstar. According to him, Pancasila is a guide star who brought Indonesia to the gates of progress and prosperity in the current era of technology and information globalization.

The Minister also reminded that Pancasila must always be imbued and used as a guideline to become a working ideology, which is felt by its presence and benefits by all Indonesian people.

“In addition to regulations based on the spirit and spirit of Pancasila, we also need exemplary which is reflected in ethics, integrity, and character of the leaders and the people of Indonesia,” he said.

Responding to the development of the global situation which is marked by the rapid advancement of communication technology, the Minister emphasized that Pancasila is expected to be a filter so that the Indonesian people do not experience disorientation in the future.

“The rapid advancement of information technology at this time marked by the massive use of technology and smart phones (smartphones) in accessing information through a variety of media must be used wisely to broadcast content and positive narratives that reflect the actualization of Pancasila values in the midst of social life, The nation, and state, “added the Minister.

Ending his speech, the Minister invited all components of the nation to work together to care for the Pancasila Gift through the commemoration of the Birthday of Pancasila June 1. “We must work together and collaborate to maintain harmony and integrity as a form of practicing the values of Pancasila,” he concluded

The ceremony took place solemnly and ended with a joint prayer for the glory and prosperity of Indonesia.
