Minister Suharso Attends Joint-Meeting with DPR RI Budget Body
Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa attended a joint meeting with the DPR RI Budget Body regarding Preliminary Discussions on the RAPBN for Fiscal Year 2025 and the Government Work Plan for 2025, Thursday (04/07/2024).
One of the discussions agreed upon at the meeting was the basic assumptions of macroeconomics and development indicators.
In terms of basic macroeconomic assumptions, the DPR RI Working Committee agreed on the following. First, the economic growth target is in the range of 5.1% to 5.5% and this target was agreed upon at a working committee meeting.
Second, the inflation rate target is in the range of 1.5 to 3.5%, this target was agreed upon at the working committee meeting. Third, the target rupiah exchange rate in KEM-PPKF is in the range of IDR 15,300 to IDR 16,000. However, the Panja agreed that this target was in the range of IDR 15,300 to IDR 15,900.
Fourth, the 10-year SBN interest rate target is in the range of 6.9% to 7.3%. The Working Committee agreed that this target was in the range of 6.9% to 7.2%. Fifth, the price of Indonesian crude oil is targeted to be in the range of 75 to 85 US$ per barrel, this target was agreed upon by the Panja.
Sixth, oil lifting is targeted to be in the range of 580 to 601 thousand barrels per day. However, the Working Committee agreed on a range of 580 to 605 thousand barrels per day
Seventh, natural gas lifting is targeted to be in the range of 1,003 to 1,047 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day and this target was agreed upon by the Panja.
Apart from agreeing on the above, the Working Committee also agreed on development indicator targets in 2025. One of the agreed points was that the poverty level was in the range of 7.0% to 8.0%.
Another agreed point is the Gini Ratio Index which is targeted to be in the range of 0.379 to 0.382. The target for open unemployment is in the range of 4.5% to 5.0%.
Furthermore, the agreed Human Capital Index in 2025 is 0.56. The Farmer Exchange Rate Index (NTP) agreed upon in 2025 is in the range of 115 to 120. Meanwhile, the Fisherman Exchange Rate Index agreed upon in 2025 is in the range 105 to 108.
