According to him, RIPPP 2022-2041 is a response to Law Number 2 of 2021 concerning Special Autonomy for Papua Province. RIPPP has been approved through Presidential Regulation Number 24 of 2023.
“This master plan is prepared jointly with ministries/institutions, local governments, and Papuan community leaders who are integrated planning between sectors and regions that prioritize the principles of good financial management,” said the Minister.
Meanwhile, SIPPP is compiled as an integrated information system platform, which is designed to support synergistic planning and budgeting in accordance with RIPPP and its derivative documents, namely the acceleration plan for the Papua Development (RAPPP).
In the event, the Minister also reviewed the contents of the documents launched. The minister said that RIPPP 2022-2024 carries the vision of “The realization of Papua Mandiri, Fair and Prosperous”. According to him, the vision was then translated into 3 main missions.
“First, providing quality and equitable health services and cultivating healthy and clean living in the community, towards healthy Papua,” said the Minister.
“Thus, in 2041, it is hoped that the stunting prevalence rates can go down to below 10 percent, life expectancy will increase, and all regencies/cities reach the elimination of malaria,” he added.
Second, providing quality education services to form a superior, creative, innovative, characterized person, and be able to collaborate on realizing the Mission of Papua Smart. The Minister hopes that this effort can increase the long expectations of schools in the Papua region in 2041 in the range of 14.59 to 16.61 years.
Third, increase competence, creativity and innovation in the development of competitive local economic potential towards productive Papua. Through this mission, the Minister hopes that poverty and unemployment rates in the Papua region can decrease in the range of 5.81 to 2.82% for poverty and 4.11 to 1.73 for unemployment.
Closing his remarks, the Minister hopes that the event policy becomes an important milestone in joint efforts to realize an independent, just and prosperous Papua.
