Funding Focus on Government Work Plan 2025
The Government Work Plan (RKP) for 2025 has a strategic role in supporting the achievement of national development goals as stated in the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025-2029.
This article attempts to review the funding focus set for 2025, which includes support for priority programs, transformative efforts, thematic policies, and development sustainability.
First, support for Priority Programs. Funding in 2025 is directed to support priority programs and priority activities that have been identified in the 2025-2029 RPJMN technocratic draft.
These programs and activities include main development indicators that reflect sectoral policy directions. By focusing on priority programs, the government strives to ensure that budget allocations are used effectively to achieve set development targets, such as improving the quality of education, health and local economic development.
Second, super priority transformative efforts. Apart from supporting priority programs, funding in 2025 is also directed to support 20 super priority transformative efforts. These transformative efforts include major initiatives designed to bring about significant and sustainable change in various sectors.
For example, development of green technology and renewable energy, digital transformation in the public and private sectors, as well as increasing food and energy security. It is hoped that adequate funding for these efforts can accelerate the transformation process and achieve broad positive impacts on society.
Third, the main theme and policy direction of RKP 2025 is the acceleration of inclusive and sustainable economic growth. Focusing on quality human resources, quality infrastructure, and an inclusive and sustainable economy is the main basis for determining funding allocations.
Investment in human resources (HR) includes increasing access and quality of education, vocational training, and public health. Meanwhile, the development of quality infrastructure aims to increase connectivity and support economic activity throughout Indonesia.
An inclusive and sustainable economy emphasizes the importance of participation from all levels of society in the development process and environmental conservation efforts.
Fourth, continuity of development. The funding focus also includes efforts to maintain continuity of development through activities and projects that continue from previous years.
Important projects already underway will continue to be funded to ensure that the expected benefits can be achieved. This continuity is important to avoid wasting resources and ensure that the investments that have been made provide maximum results.
Large infrastructure projects, social welfare programs and other development initiatives will receive special attention so that they can continue to contribute to national development.
