Development Stage Towards Golden Indonesia 2045
The Ministry of National Development Planning stated that long-term development for the 2025-2024 period would be carried out in four stages.
The first stage is strengthening the foundation of transformation. It will be carried out from 2025 to 2029. During this period, 3 transformations have been planned, namely social transformation, economic transformation, and governance transformation.
Social transformation is carried out with basic health, education, and social protection services. Economic transformation is carried out by downstream natural resources and strengthening innovation research and labor productivity.
Meanwhile, the transformation of governance is carried out with proper functioning institutions, improving foundations, structuring regulations, merit-based ASN quality, evidence-based development policies, implementing risk management, IT-based public services, and strengthening the capacity of civil society.
The second stage will be carried out from 2030 to 2034. This stage is referred to as the accelerated transformation stage. Just like the first stage, this stage also makes social, economic, and governance transformations.
The social transformation that will be carried out in this second stage is the acceleration of the development of quality and inclusive human resources. The economic transformation that will be carried out in the second phase is a massive increase in productivity and expansion of sources of economic growth,
The governance transformation that will be carried out in the second stage is collaborative institutions and ASN human resources that are prosperous, proportional, and competent. There is a simplification of IT-based regulations, the realization of political parties with integrity, and a participatory civil society.
The third stage is carried out from 2035 to 2039. This stage is referred to as global expansion. The social transformation that will be carried out at this stage is the strengthening of the competitiveness of human resources and the sustainability of prosperity.
The economic transformation that will be carried out in the third stage is an economic powerhouse that is integrated with global and domestic value chain networks, as well as strong exports.
Meanwhile, the governance transformation that will be carried out in this third stage is adaptive institutions, competitive ASN human resources, the existence of transparent and accountable political parties, the existence of a single institution managing regulations, and the formation of an independent civil society.
The fourth stage is carried out in the range of 2040 to 2045. This stage is referred to as the embodiment of golden Indonesia. The social transformation that will be carried out in this period is the realization of superior Indonesian human resources.
The economic transformation that will be carried out at this stage is the creation of a high-income country. The governance transformation that will be carried out at this stage is the existence of regulations that are adaptive and adhere to the principles as well as governance with integrity, agility, and collaboration.
